Amanda graduated as a Fulbright Scholar from Harvard University and spent most of her career in public policy and government. She came to the Phoenix Valley via Canada (the warm weather called her). She was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2006, which caused her to be more aware of her body and take steps toward a healthier lifestyle and ultimately jump into the health and fitness world. She completed her medical degree at the University of Arizona and her residency in family medicine at Banner Good Samaritan in Phoenix. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Biology and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and her medical degree from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Dr Wilder completed her specialty training in Family Medicine at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland where she stayed on as faculty and Assistant Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine.
